Shown at CES with a price tag of $1300, the EXOdesk platform and its big touch-screen interface could create a major disruption to Microsoft’s plans with its premium Surface model with horizontally-employed touchscreen technology. On the 36” screen show on the Viewsonic stand at CES, you can pop open a virtual keyboard and access apps like piano instruction—as well as find desktop shortcuts, check the weather, and write directly on the screen.
